The "Jury" journey began back in 1965 with Co-founders Michael Gayle, Ron Calese, and Larry Scheid forming a band in their hometown of Sayreville, New Jersey. The band was initially called Satan's Jury and sometime around 1971 the name was changed to The Jury.

Michael and Ron reunited in Los Angeles in 1981 where they spent the next several decades together touring and recording in SoCal. In 2009 Ron moved to Laurens SC. The musical collaboration continued long distance and eventually, as fate would have it, Michael also moved to Laurens SC in December of 2022. The collaboration and recording sessions picked up exactly where they left off and the result is the album GENTLEMEN OF THE JURY.
