Not exactly sure but I think I got the Rhythm Ace sometime around 1972. It was, of coarse, my first drum machine or beat machine. I do remember that in later years it was held together by duct tape because the sides were always falling off. We all loved the fact that you could hold down 2 or 3 buttons simultaneously and get some crazy but cool rhythms to jam to. There is nothing like that old analog waveform sound these boxes made. Some of the tracks on this album were actually recorded in the late 70's, early 80's on my 4 track machine. I was able to clean some of them up and do a little remastering to include them on this record. The tracks are all layered guitars jamming to the Rhythm Ace.
Disclaimer...I think there is an upright bass somewhere on 1 of the tracks.
